Ben Evans has been bringing a very unique sound of trance to the Australian music circuit for the last 6 years, along with his Interview events all over the city; encompassing a vast array of atmospheric and melodic groove from the depths of the underground trance movement, his sound will get your body and mind moving in ways you have never imagined.

A regular amongst the festival and club circuit Australia wide and having supported massive internationals on most of Australia’s finest party stages, this is the sound of the future of trance and you’re not going to want to miss a beat! Ben has developed his own unique DJing style which combines tribal, techy, progressive and melodic sounds driven by slamming drums and psychedelic groove, tuned to tickle your 3rd eye. With it fused together in one sweeping mix of styles, colours and sounds in an atmospheric, earthly environment he transforms his audience into a united rhythmic movement

From modest beginnings, Ben has accelerated ahead and left his musical imprint upon huge main room crowds, to intimate underground regulars, all the way to the big outdoor crowds of the Australian psychedelic bush parties. Playing seamless and exciting sets alongside the likes of Simon Posford, Astrix, Martin Roth, S.U.N Project, Midimiliz & Extrawelt, Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Space Tribe, Shpongle, John 00 Fleming, Lish, Gareth Emery, Mark Norman, Luke Vibert, Christopher Lawrence, Sean Tyas, Kyau & Albert, and Andy Moor, just to name a few.
As the founder of the infamous Interview parties, Ben and his strong team of friends have helped rebuild the Melbourne progressive / trance scene and now have a huge, committed, passionate following.
Ben's regular residencies in several Melbourne clubs helps feed the fans succulent tastings of Ben's aural delights, playing cutting edge music amongst underrated classics with dynamic flair embracing a degree of risk & skill with a variety of genres and musical boundaries all blending into one dynamic sound. His major influences include Vibrasphere, Son Kite, AMD, Dick Trevor, Sub 6, Astral Projection, Cosma, Basic, Astrix, Sander van Doorn, Paul van Dyk, Infected Mushroom, Nu-NRG, John 00 Fleming and M.I.K.E. Ben's psychedelic production Alias "Anomyst" is set to fly in 2010 with a 4 part EP with Wavemotion being released on Highly Evolved Recordings of which Ben is the label DJ, so stay tuned for more on this.

Interview has grown so much now that the crew have run several breathtaking events loaded with sensory-tickling sound and lightshows and Live acts at Brown Alley, Miss Libertine & Room680 attracting hundreds and hundreds of people begging for more.

Along with the club events he has created Warehouse events, Boat Parties, Outdoor Festivals and more by the names, Colour of Sound, Festivus Free Doof and the Interview vs PUSH Annual Boat party, Ben and the Interview crew have also collaborated with ID&T, Sensation, Trance Energy, Green Ant, Gatecrasher, Hardware, Pharmacy at Metro and Palace Complex, Airport, Creamfields, Earthcore, Future Entertainment, Steriosonic PUSH Crew, Element, Ground Zero, and many more, as well as a plethora of other successful events in the past. His heart-stopping, mainroom set at Gatecrasher was re-hashed for those who wanted to relive the amazing moment on Syn FM, and Ben also has a fortnightly radio program coming soon on Mixsd FM. With regular guestmixes appearing on the trancesound.net radio show on SenseGenerate FM London.

At the tender age of 25, Ben's skills and dedication have taken him a long way in the short space of time, and things are getting bigger, better and brighter for the talented young man.
