Jamie White Tom McGuinness
After meeting through friends in late 2008, Jamie & Tom decided to form a duo, playing a mixture of electronica, their techy underground tunes always have dancefloors moving.
Having played at some of the biggest events in Auckland, including Summadayze, Chemistry, Big Clubbers Night Out, Slinky & many more, the two have found themselves with a supporting act list that is definitely worth talking about, acts such as Nic Fanciulli, Sebastien Leger, Eddie Halliwell, Carl Cox and John Askew, just to name a few.
Both having had a passion for music in every way from a very early age; Tom with his Audio Engineering & Music Production diploma, and Jamie with his singing andTV adverts and live show recordings, that drive has come to a head in 2009 with both of them getting down some proper studio time and getting tracks out there!

On the DJ circuit, Jamie & Tom are known for there animated and fun-filled sets, which blend quirky tech house, groovy deep house and drum driven techno, constantly changing it up and keeping it interesting for the dancefloor. Whether that’s via traditional DJ means, or via their layer and parts focused Ableton Live sets, which see the dj booth transformed into a control centre of laptops, controllers, flashing lights and high quality music.Having recently acquired a monthly residency at local Auckland lounge bar ‘Red’. The two are looking towards the long term, giving them an opportunity for fans to catch them in an intimate setting, and generally hear a selection of music that you wouldn’t normally get in a pumping club environment. This night focuses more on the groove and house side of the underground, slower and more sensual, perfect for a quiet drink before heading out for the night!
Their other venture is a weekly radio slot on Auckland station UPfm, NEAT Radio, named after Jamie’s event promotions company, this gives the guys two hours every Saturday afternoon to ease everyone into the evening. Featuring weekly special guests and many a prize to be picked up, the show is always a hit with traditional listeners, and those tuned in over the web.
All things said and done, you can always expect a top quality set from either of the duo, whether they are playing together, or by themselves, the have the tunes and the passion behind the decks to keep the dancefloor on their toes.
