Thad Lester
First captivated by electronic music in the late 80's, Thad has worked in many areas of the music industry.
From promoting 'Acid House' nights at ZuZu's and Checkpoint Charlie in 1989 to his own techno nights 'Quasar', 'Deep' and the 'Beyond/Frank de Wulf' series of parties in the early 90's, decor artwork, managing record labels and record stores, through to the current day with 'PUSH' and the 'Sonic Textures' collaborations, it's his passion for electronic music that has maintained his involvement in the industry.
This passion led to an instant addiction for vinyl, but it wasn't until 2000 - after having been content playing house parties for over a decade - that Thad finally took an opportunity to play a club gig.
Thad has gone on to play his blend of driving progressive and techno sounds at events including Rainbow Serpent Festival, Interview, Colour Of Sound, Instinct, PUSH, Earthcore, Traincore, Genesis, Likes Of You, Sonic Textures - and many more
Since those few 'fill in' spots at QBar on a Sunday, Thad has gone on to play his blend of driving progressive and techno sounds at events including Rainbow Serpent Festival, Interview, Colour Of Sound, Instinct, PUSH, Earthcore, Traincore, Genesis, Likes Of You, Sonic Textures - and many more - alongside a string of international guests including D-Nox, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Vibrasphere, Kosmas Epsilon, Minilogue and many more...
