Touring with full Gatecrasher production this event boasts a stellar international talent line up featuring trance legends John OO Fleming, Gareth Emery GTR, Dave Lee & UK house godfather Norman Jay.
The event will also feature a line up of Melbourne favourite DJ talent.
Artists/DJs include:
Gatecrasher stage: John OO Fleming UK
One of the biggest names in the world or trance John OO is crowd pleaser who will take you on a journey this Christmas into another world. Boasting regular appearances at Gatecrasher and Godskitchen, John 00 Fleming has long been injecting his blend of hard-edged progressive trance into the UK’s top clubs, including Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Slinky, Passion and Inside-out and among many others.
With a career spanning nearly twenty years, his unique character and impeccable talent have seen Fleming become the face of his genre, producing numerous mix albums, artist singles, remix projects and now heading his own underground label; Joof Recordings.
GTR Gareth Emery UK
Gareth Emery (aka GTR) is recognised the world over as one of dance music’s most established young artists. Since being tipped by Mixmag in 2002, the 24 year old has become a regular feature at infamous clubs like Gatecrasher, Slinky, The Gallery and Passion in his native UK.
A uniquely flexible DJ, he is one of a rare breed able to read the crowd in an instant and deliver the goods at any time of night, which is why The Gallery are as happy for him to play after Judge Jules as Godskitchen are for him to warm up for Paul van Dyk.
Moreover, the Gareth Emery sound appeals to followers of many styles of dance music, transcending the bitter genre politics that often dog the scene and bringing back faith that trance can be cool to even the most hardened cynics.
Dave Lee UK
Dave Lee is one of the most influential men in the UK dance music industry. Having managed UK super club Slinky for the past decade Dave now heads up an even beiger project being Gatecrasher. Dave’s set are seamless mix of uplifting trance with tough crunchy hard house.
House/electro stage: Norman Jay UK
He is arguably one of the finest and most respected deejays in the world today whose talents and many years of dedicated service to his profession have now seen him rightfully acknowledged by the highest authority in the land.
On Saturday 15th June 2002, Norman was officially cited in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Birthday Honours List with the recommendation that he be appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, an MBE no less, awarded on merit for “deejaying and services to music”.
Norman founded Kiss FM in London which shaped UK dance music & annually plays to a crowd of 20000 on his own stage at the Nottinghill carnival. Norman’s Good Times Sound system events & CD’s have become one of the world’s most well know dance music acts. When looking for feel good DJ that people would love to perform on Christmas Day know one can compare to the king of Good Times Mr Norman Jay.
