KillRockStar Entertainment and Metal Mulisha proudly presents...
Pharmacy [ Kickstart My Heart ]
9th March 2008 : 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
Palace Theatre (formerly Metro) - 20 Bourke Street Melbourne
We’re turning this one up to eleven! The Pharmacy ‘motley crüe’ return with another less than civilized evening of light entertainment, finger food, hookers, blackjack and the very best wedding singers money can buy!
The deviant minds at KillRockStar HQ have devised a celebration of cock rock pastiche, rock n roll excess, hotrods, motorcycles, bad hair, cherry pie and a world of mindless self-indulgence! Faster pussycat- kill kill!
Prepare your heavy metal umlaut and shout at the devil, because baby- we give love a bad name!
The sounds of the many-headed Pharmacy beast are as many and varied as they are fresh and cutting edge- an electrifying mix of smutcore electro, big room trucker trance, full throttle techno and a hot beef injection of the more extreme black sounds!
Infiltrate. Destroy. Rebuild.
The biggest collaboration in recent history is about to launch- Pharmacy/Airport in conjunction with Straight On and Dr Willis/Cybergroove prepares to take Australia’s hottest tougher trance and tech trance sounds to the world! Rockstar Wreck Chords 001 hits stores in March!
Rockstar Wreck Chords 001: Dr Willis- Shark Infested Waters (includes Kamui mix)
Rockstar Wreck Chords 002: LCK & Elysium- Penguins (includes Fred Baker mix)
Mark Sherry is a man on fire! 2007 has been a stellar year for the hard working Scotsman that rose to fame as part of the legendary Public Domain outfit. This year we have seen a more mature sounding Mark Sherry assault the planet with his electro, minimal and techno influenced trancescapes- alongside the likes of Sean Tyas, Sander van Doorn and Richard Durand, Mark Sherry is part of the new vanguard of techtrance that has torn down the genre boundaries and breathed new life into the trance movement! Tunes such as Red Alert, Vengeance and his reworking of Chopperchunk have all become instant classics!
Scotland’s Mark Sinclair burst onto the global dance scene in the summer of 2006, under the guise “Terry Ferminal” and with his first solo release titled “Nymph”. Since then he has had huge success with releases such as “Deep Inside”, “Walk Away” (alongside fellow Scot Mark Sherry) and has signed to some major record labels including Armada, High Contrast and Vandit Records. “Nymph” was the opening track on the Official Sensation Black 2006 compilation album, and his tracks also feature on the Dance Valley 2006 and Sander van Doorn Mixmag compilation albums. With worldwide airplay and full support from the industry’s elite DJ’s such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk, the future looks great for this 27 year old DJ/Producer.
Artists such as Italy’s Max Savietto are a rare breed- releasing some of the worlds hardest hitting and most cutting edge hard trance under the Sa Vee Oh moniker while simultaneously delivering massive big room trance and tech trance bombs as Max Savietto. From his first steps on infamous Noom Recordings to his collaborations with Scot Project and Sakin on Overdose and more recently having remixed the likes of M.I.K.E, Max Savietto is one of the most prolific artists in the scene today. It is however for his super anthem ‘Loop Hole’ that the Italian Stallion is most loved and renowned.
Millions of fans worldwide have been infected by this new groove! Kan Cold is the twisted maniac behind the domination of super acts Hennes & Cold and Derb. Personally kicking off the renaissance period of the hard trance movement Kan Cold unleashed mega anthems that included The Second Trip, The Sound Of Rock, Derb, In Africa plus massive remixes including the dark odyssey Angel of Death, and who could ignore the seminal Derb remix of Trance and Acid!
When most of us were contemplating which direction to go in life, a 20 years young DJ/Producer firmly etched his worth in stone in the wonderful world of electronic dance music in such a way most can dream of in their entire career. Ranked the 4 DJ in Australia, productions signed to the 1 DJ in the world Armin Van Buuren’s record label, Armada, and being play listed by artists such as Above & Beyond and Markus Shultz has become all in a days work for Tyson Illingworth.
