IMPORTANT INFORMATION - ROYALDOOF IS NO LONGER OUTDOORS
It is with extreme regret and disappointment to inform everyone that after careful consideration we unfortunately have no other option but to move this event to an indoor venue as our last resort. We feel we have let down our followers and those who have set this weekend aside and put their faith in us to deliver what they have come to expect over the years.

The move indoors can only be seen as some sort of consolation. Although this will not suit many (such as long distance travellers), it is now our only option without cancelling everything completely.

With now less than a few days needed before setup, numerous conditions have been placed which have dramatically increased the finances and resources needed which are now way beyond our means. With a growing list of many uncertainties relating to the site that we cannot address at such short notice we have been forced to contain this now to an indoor event.

With the timeframe we are now left with, we are unable to orchestrate this event to the level needed and inform the many service providers, ticket holders and others involved. The legal and financial ramifications for all contractors, artists, suppliers, organisers and patrons involved in running what would now be an illegal and un-fundable event of this size and nature are considered too severe.
We realise that this will make all involved upset and that many people will not understand or accept the implications or issues that have resulted in this decision but it is considered only solution for this predicament we all now face.

We hope that you can understand the predicament the event is in and that we truly regret the consequences of this outcome that impacts on so many people.

INTERSTATE ACTS

GROUCH

Oscar Allison, a.k.a Grouch is from Aotearoa, New Zealand. Making music since late 1999, Grouch was producing experimental psychedelic dub, down-tempo and DnB. In 2006, he started playing at outdoor festivals, and started writing more and more trance. Grouch's music has constantly evolved over time, and now includes various genres: from techno to minimal, dubstep, psychedelic and progressive trance, he also crosses these genres uniquely. With a long-standing background in percussion, the Grouch experience is a profound and cheeky amalgamation of minimal, tribal percussive elements and intricate and phat stomping basslines. With an incredibly distinctive style, Grouch’s productions are multi-layered, yet so clean that there is no room for any loose ends. Grouch has played extensively at music festivals and clubs throughout Australia and New Zealand, and more recently also in India. Since his debut album "The Moof is Rooving" on A-List Records in 2006, he has released several tracks on different labels, including Cosmic Conspiracy Records, Zenon records and Native Harmonics records. He currently has another album set for release on Up Records, and a VA releases on Soundkraft Records to look out for in the near future.

CENOBITE

Cenobite is producer Brendan Rickard. Based on the north coast of NSW, Cenobite draws inspiration from the local underground dance culture and his experience playing live music from the nineties .Cenobite has drawn from his diverse experience to create a sound that is both expansive, funky and grinding at times. Cenobite has recently played at Splendor in the grass, SEQ solstice, Bush Cats, Green & Groovy, Wish Dish, resonant frequency electronic music festivals and serpentine illusions show. this year could be the time to check out Cenobite

Dark Nebula evolved out of the Digital Psionics Studio based in Byron Bay, Australia in 1998. Dark Nebula is a unique sound, trademarked by an innovative, original style. Dark nebula has had great success with 7 albums and an ambient album under the alias Orbit Constructions. Dark Nebula has had many releases on compilations around the globe releasing on labels like Parvati, Spirit Zone, Space Tribe Music, Temple Twisters, Northern Psylight, Digital Distortion, and Digital Psionics just for starters. Dark nebula has built a strong reputation with powerful live sets playing at parties across the globe such as Boom Festival (Portugal), Sonica (Italy), Summer Never Ends Festival (Switzerland), Rainbow Serpent (Australia) and Splendor in the Grass (Australia) to name a few. AGENT 23

Agent 23 is one of the Sydney’s Psy scenes longest standing members, now based in Brisbane. In 2006 Agent 23 saw the full launch of his new label, “Illuminati Records”, with “Freemason Conspiracy” receiving good reviews as well as and their latest release “ Alien Agenda”.
